Fireweed Horizons

Fireweed Horizons, LLC offers two core services: we capture and preserve the stories that matter most to you, and we design and lead mindfulness-based writing and photography workshops that invite participants to reflect deeply and choose how they want to show up in their lives.

About Heather

As a lover of stories, as well as the gifts that reflective photography and writing can provide, Heather started Fireweed Horizons, LLC to create a space to help others capture both. She has worked and volunteered in many different roles, including teaching preschool, leading a wilderness skills camp, providing mental health services, writing and assisting with research, and serving as a landscape photographer and speaker on wilderness living. Her photographs have been shown in various galleries, businesses, and the San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Heather enjoys combining these experiences to help others bring their memories and stories to life, and to create dynamic workshops that deepen our relationship with ourselves, each other, and the world.

Heather loves exploring new and familiar places in all sorts of self-propelled ways, such as hiking, canoeing, and x-country skiing. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, her sassy cat, and being inspired by the inner strengths and stories of people and communities.
